Merry Week-Away-from-Christmas!

Hello, it is I Spunty the traveling art critic come to give a critique to those in need! Hmm... it's been a while since I've critiqued photography. I'm gonna need my big boy pants for this one.

A photo of two kids playing marbles. Ah, the pleasant memories this invokes... Playing marbles on the sidewalk, scrambling to find them when the bag tips over, betting over who gets to keep the "gold" marble. (it's a regular marble our grandpa spray painted gold)

While it definitely invokes good feelings from me, it's not without it's dings. I would've liked if the kids were playing on concrete or some other light-colored floor. On the dirt they're playing on, the marbles are kind of hard to see. It doesn't help that the general area is filled with plants and other debris. Also, while the over head view is a nice touch, you sorta' caught the top kid's foot at an odd angle.

Overall, well done my friend. This picture is definitely worth a thousand words. Keep up the good work, Dukeofspade. This critic is pleased. Now, I must go. I have many pictures to critique and so little time to do so. Farewell, amigo.
