This photo was taken during the 56th Araw ang Paquibato held at Barangay Pegdalahan, Paquibato District. This group of children were waiting for thier turn to perform for the dance competition for the said festival. This group was composed of Bisayan and Ata-Manobo tribe.

1st I want to talk bout' the black and grey. As I love color so much I also love monochrome. This type of of level in monochrome is what I wanted to achieve when taking pictures of kids from rural places.

2nd is the emotions the is showing. The kid who is making a neck piece if I am not mistaken shows the viewer that I am working hard to this face. Haha

I wanted to see the other kid's face though. The one in the lower left. Maybe he might contrast the other kid's emotion. Was he laughing though?

A very thought provoking picture !!! The immense depth especially in those eyes of the kid made me feel love for him. Plus, the black and white composition gave it two big time points.. really really great framing, i mean people normally like to cover all of the kids, but the focus on a single child made the bakcgorund an infinitely wide one. How much more could i say about that, the depth of field is perfect here, you can get the feeling in just a single glance, and though i've seen such heart-touching photos, this ones is surely one hell of an inspiration !!!
